Everyone will get a chance to impress

The pre-season steps up a notch this week with Leicester having three matches before the end of the weekend, starting with a trip to Luton tonight.

Those that didn't go with the squad to Slovenia will be given their chances by Nigel Pearson as he is looking to get the whole squad involved in the matches that are coming up, which after tonight include Quorn on Thursday and Kettering on Saturday.

The gaffer is pleased with how things are going and is looking forward to the matches that are coming up, and particularly keen to look at those that couldn't join the others on tour, which was only due to the fact that places had to be limited, this didn't mean they are not in his plans. Now is the time for them to stake a claim when given it.

Several reserve fixtures are also planned with the League One kick-off less than three weeks away now!
