Leicester chasing 100 goals
One member of Leicester City's team could earn themselves a bit of history tomorrow - with City's 100th goal against visitors Hull in the Championship fixture.
In fact there are two minor milestones under threat, according to the official Leicester City website, the 100th goal overall and the 50th at home in the total of 64 clashes betweeen the clubs. Leicester's current total stands at 49.
The clubs first met in 1905/06 when the two divisions of that time were increased to 20 teams each and Hull gained their admission and earned an initial 2-1 win at Filbert Street.
Leicester have won 13 of their 30 home games against Hull and their biggest margin was when legendary centre-forward Arthur Rowley grabbed a hat-trick in 1952-53 when City finished 5-0 victors.
Arthur Rowley remains the overall top marksman in the fixture with 12 goals and there was a record transfer when Don Revie, later to be the famous manager of Leeds and England, moved from Leicester to Hull for £20,000.
