Dickov could still return to Leicester
It was being reported that Leicester target Paul Dickov had agreed a deal with Blackpool, so his possible return to the Walker Stadium wasn't going to happen. However his representatives have denied he has signed for the Championship club, and he could still make this return under Nigel Pearson.
In a statement from his representatives, First Artist Sports, they said that the reports of a deal being signed with Blackpool probably came from the club direct but this isn't true. Dickov, now 35, has had discussions with Blackpool, but no deal signed. It went on to say that he had also held talks with MLS side Toronto FC and us.
Louis Dodds however is poised to move away from Leicester, with a move to Port Vale expected to be completed shortly, with Vale gaffer Lee Sinnott hopeful that the deal will go through.
