Dodds is a wanted man, but not by Pearson?

According to skysports.com Louis Dodds' future looks like it will be away from Leicester, with plenty of clubs after him.

Dodds spent a spell on loan with Lincoln last season, which proved successful and this had seen them wanting to keep him. However he returned to the Walkers Stadium in the summer and was offered a new contract by Milan Mandaric. As he didn't want to commit until he knew what the situation was with the club he opted against this, but remained with the club so he could train under the new gaffer, Nigel Pearson, before deciding his future.

The striker hasn't been taken with the squad to Slovenia for the pre-season training camp, which could imply that he doesn't have a future under Pearson? This news has altered other clubs with it believed that Lincoln, Bradford, Rochdale, Cheltenham, Darlington, Port Vale and Crewe have all made enquires as to his availably.

Should Dodds, 21, leave Leicester even though he is out of contract a fee would be payable to the club, which would be decided by a tribunal.

Its a shame for Dodds but maybe he doesn't have that little bit extra needed to step up. If he does decide to move on he would do worse than to give Crewe a go.

Lincoln fan here. From what we're hearing it doesn't look like we want to sign him, even though he did well for us on loan last year.
