West Ham back in for Mattock

Leicester might have a fight on their hands to keep promising youngster Joe Mattock at the Walkers Stadium as West Ham are reported to be weighing up an improved offer to that which was rejected in January.

West Ham, and others including Aston Villa and Everton have chased Mattock, an England U21, for sometime and having rejected an offer of £1.25m from the Londoners in January they could come back with a £2m offer this summer for the defender.

Our relegation into League One is making it harder to keep hold of our best players, but unless he wants to go, or the offer is to good to refuse I still think that his best interests are served by staying with us. He is still young, can develop here and has plenty of time ahead of him to get into the Premier League, and this could still happen with us!

If Mattock knows what is right for his career he will stay here. He needs experience and that it what we can provide him with.

I agree with that, but more talk today about a £2m move from West Ham for him. I hope he sees the light and isn't dazzled by the bright ones on offer!

I think he should stay for at least 1 more season,at least he will get games with lcfc, dont want to see him go just to warm up a bench hes to good to do that, and he could help leicester get back to the ccc HOPE HE STAYS,
