'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Pearson talks about our win at Hinckley

This is what Nigel Pearson had to say to lcfc.co.uk after our 5-4 victory over Hinckley United on Saturday afternoon 'I learned a lot about the team today and I have got a few things to consider over the next few weeks.
'I am delighted that we got asked some serious questions out there. Hinckley played very well. They scored some good goals and gave us a bit of a wake up call.
'We finished the game strongly, which I would have expected us to do.
'We know that we have got a difficult season ahead and come August 9 we will be ready for the challenge.'

Hinckley did ask us more questions than many might have expected but this will prove to be a very good thing and as much as pre-season doesn't really mean a lot it's a good way to start things ahead of the League One season, which starts in a little under a month.

Very true, that is what I seem to like about Pearson already. Hopefully he stays that way. I'm backing him to do very well with us.
