Hammer waiting to strike City

Apart from 'The Beast', centre-back turned striker Jon Parkin, one player Leicester City will have to look out for at the Walkers tomorrow is Hull's loan signing from West Ham Mark Noble.

Noble, according to the Vitalfootball Hull City administrator, joined The Tigers with arguably the weightiest reputation since the arrival of Nick Barmby in 2004.

He signed for West Ham as a 12-year-old, and at 15 became the club's youngest-ever reserve team player.

With outstanding ability and rare maturity, Noble made several first team appearances and also impressed as England under 18 captain efforts which helped earn him a Young Hammer of the Year award.

The 18-year-old signed a four-year contract after the Hammers promotion last year and has since joined Hull City for the remainder of the season in order to gain match experience.

According to Hamers fans he tackles, passes and scores goals in a Joe Cole type of role. He made a promising home debut for Hull against Wolves and is sure to be a danger tomorrow.
