Magunda agrees a new six-month deal

Joe Magunda has been handed a short-term six-month contract to prove his fitness in the attempt of earning a longer-term stay with Leicester.

Injuries denied the youngster the chance of making much of an impact last season but as he told lcfc.co.uk Jon Rudkin believes that giving him this half a season to and prove himself is the right thing to do 'Joe suffered a serious injury midway through last season and missed a large part of the campaign.
'It was felt that he should be given the opportunity during the first part of this season to impress and try and earn a further contract with the club.'

We don't really have a lot to lose do we, so I think giving him this chance is well worth it and is something that is the best thing to do.
