'If It's Football, It's Vital'

A second player goes as Hume joins Barnsley

The second player to leave Leicester this afternoon was Iain Hume, who like Richard Stearman, will carry on his career in the Championship next season unlike us.

A fee of £1.2m has taken the striker to Barnsley, and Simon Davey is more than happy with his capture as he explained to bansleyfc.co.uk 'We've been tracking Iain all summer and I have been an admirer since his days at Tranmere.
'Iain is a big talent who, at the age of 24, is just starting to come into his prime.
'The staff here are excited about the chance to work with Iain and develop him even further. We all know that he will have a big impact at Oakwell.'

Where will the exodus end! This is the price we will pay for our relegation to League One. Hopefully Nigel Pearson can at least be given some of the money we are getting in to use on reinforcements.

I know that it hurts to see players leave, but I for one would rather see those without heart or big enough pay packets ***** right off and leave behind those who will march us on to League 1 glory. Keep the Faith. Leicester till I die. :-)

£1.2 million for our top scorer. It's not a lot considering how hard i will be to replace the lad. The way things are going I'm expecting some supermarket to put in a planning application for The Walkers.
Filbert's Nuts
Now there on about selling mattock,he is one of the young ones and we should not let him go,if he goes there is something not quite right, they said they will bring on the youths well he is one and should not be sold,it just scares me who they are going to bring in to replace the others, but yes northern fox i will try and keep the faith

Turning into a bit of a mutiny or is it just the new broom sweeping clean??
quietman
Eevryone says you will go straight back up but its not that easy, especially if you keep selling all your best players.
