Stearman leaves Leicester for Wolves

Stearman leaves Leicester for Wolves

The consequences of our relegation from the Championship continued today. We might be playing in League One this season, but Richard Stearman will not as he has completed a move to Wolves for an undisclosed fee.

The Wolverhampton born defender, who had also been linked with Aston Villa, signed a four-year contract with Wolves which didn't take him long to decide as he explained to BBC West Midlands 'As soon as I got back from holiday I came down to the training ground and I was delighted to get it done.
'I got the tour and was very impressed, it just confirmed my eagerness to get going now.'

So yet another player has left, and he wouldn't be the last today!
