Foxes youngster Beswick nets new one-year deal

Ryan Beswick, who has come through the ranks with Leicester has signed a new one-year contract.

The winger was a permanent fixture in the reserve and academy sides last season, and also trained regularly with the first team but will now be hoping to make his senior breakthrough this season.

Academy manager Jon Rudkin believes that the 19-year-old could well do this under Nigel Pearson this season, as he told lcfc.co.uk 'Ryan is another promising teenager who has worked hard to get where he is today.

'He is a level-headed individual who is determined to progress and impress at first-team level. We wish him well'.

Beswick will probably never have a better chance of making his breakthrough than he will this season, so if it comes along he must take it.
