Holloway's Future To Be Confirmed Soon

It might have looked like Ian Holloway's future as boss of Leicester was sorted out following a meeting with Milan Mandaric recently, but that isn't the case as Mandaric has explained, also casting doubts on his own future with the club: 'I am looking (at a decision) no later than the first week in June, the second at the latest,' Mandaric told the Mercury. 'I am not even giving total support to myself. Am I a good chairman or not? It starts with me, and then goes all the way down - including the manager.

'I think I am entitled to look at that. I am in the firing line, I am responsible.

'I am the one who is going to support the club financially so I will do what is best for the club; not necessarily for Ian Holloway or Milan Mandaric.

'You need time to give your manager chance to review the staff and players.'

The future will need to be sorted sooner rather than later so the rebuilding for next seasons League One campaign, and a bid for an instant return to the Championship can begin. Until it is known who will be in charge this is difficult as far as buying or selling players goes.
