Hendrie Could Yet Have Blades Future

Kevin Blackwell is keeping the door open for Lee Hendrie to still have a future with Sheffield United, even though he ended the season on loan with Leicester and has made his feelings clear that he would like to stay: 'He comes back as a Sheffield United player,' Blackwell told BBC Radio Sheffield. 'Maybe he'll flourish under a team that's doing well.'

Hendrie is still under contract with the Blades so unless this changes, despite his publicly known comments that he didn't like being where he was Blackwell will give him a clean slate, but he will have to do what is asked of him, he added: 'I'm aware of his comments that he didn't like it at Sheffield.

'But he's contracted at Sheffield United and he will do everything that's required of Sheffield United unless he moves on.'

Will his return to Sheffield United only be a short-term thing or can a permanent return to Leicester will still happen?

He was at leicester for a few months and i can honestly say the lcfc fans loved him, obviously if he is somewhere he doesnt want to be it would be hard (like going to work when you hate your job) but he was never a problem at lcfc,i personally would love him to come to leicester but i dont think that will happen now,but whatever he does we wish him all the luck x
