Stealthy Chambers sinks Royals

England youth international Ashley Chambers stole the late goal which gave the Leicester City U18's a 1-0 win over Reading at Belvoir Drive on Saturday, continuing their good run of results.

Chambers was only introduced by coach Steve Beaglehole on the hour mark with he and Ryan Beswick replacing Ricky Muggleton and Eric Odhiambo in an effort to break the stalemate.

And 10 minutes from time the move paid dividends when the fleet-footed Chambers pinched the ball from a Reading centre-back and made no mistake in a simple one-on-way contest against the goalkeeper.

With excellent recent wins over Coventry and Cardiff behind them this was another good scalp although City had goalkeeper Alex Cisak to thank for keeping them level when he made a stunning 14 minute save.
